3S CoDeSys

The CoDeSys Driver was designed specifically to get in communication with 3S Software softPLC, connected through TCP/IP network protocols.

An instance of the CoDeSys SoftPLC can be installed on a desktop computer or on a Windows CE panel; the driver is able to access both.

Our driver support two different PLC version: 2.3 and 3. The runtime and the Programming environment are different for the two versions, for the configuration of the 3S system, please refer to their documentation.

The version 3 PLC need a 3S dll, in order to complete the connection. The GwClient.dll must be present in the client system, in the Supervisor directory or in a directory included in the path environment variable.

In order to establish the connection with the PLC, a valid program must run and the program symbols must be exported. Please, refer to the PLC and development environment documentation for more information and operating procedures.
