The Siemens S7 TCP Driver was designed specifically for the use with Siemens S7 300 and 400, but it can also be used with 200 series PLC. This driver implement the ISO over TCP protocol and the natural physical media is an Ethernet network, eventually connected with switches or hubs. Obviously, the PLC has to have an Ethernet port or an Ethernet module in its rack.
