Siemens S7 TCP

The S7 TCP Driver was designed specifically for the use with Siemens S7 300 and 400 and  VIPA System 200V, 300V,  300S and 500S series. Also the PLC Siemens S7-1200 and S7-1500 are supported, with some limitations (see S7-1200 Ethernet Configuration and S7-1500 Ethernet Configuration). This driver implement the ISO over TCP protocol and the natural physical media is an Ethernet network, eventually connected with switches or hubs. Obviously, the PLC has to have an Ethernet port or an Ethernet module in its rack.
