Design

An option has been added to execute Startup Commands after starting up the loaded Drivers.  Basically, the command list is started up only after all the variables connected in input have been exchanged with the field.  This option is only used when the "Sync at Startup" setting has been activated in the Driver settings.

Historical Log Management

The "MaxLengthFlushDBFile"registry key has been added to the General section which functions in the following way: 1. Without key: Movicon uses a default lime of 100000 KBytes. 2. With Key = 0: Movicon will not record on file and flushed data will be discarded.  3. With Key > 0: if the file size is lower than the limit, it will be flushed, if not the data will be saved on file.  When one of the flush file limit has been reached, it will signalled in the Project Historical Log.

IMDB(In Memory DB)

The value of the "Maximum number of records" property concerning the resources that use the IMDB engine is fixed at 10000 for default instead of '0' for the WinCE platform to avoid memory saturation caused by very frequent recording activity.

Screen Objects

The Ungroup operations of a Symbol would cause the loss of animation, VB Script, Logic or  Commands set in the Symbol's container without warning.  Now when these operations are performed a message appears to inform users that certain data may be lost at container level.

WebClient

It is now possible to use the UserName and Password parameters at the end of the list of parameters in the Applet Java for opening the service directly without accessing the Browser.  Therefore the parameter list from command line is now: [Server] [Screen] [Width] [Height] [Port] [UserName] [UserPassword].

Dispatcher

Added the DWord value "DiagnosticLog" in the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Progea Automation \Alarm Dispatcher

which when set to '1' saves the log files in message Text in the Movicon project folder named "DispatcherDiagnostic ** - ** - **** _ ** _ ** _ **. txt"

where ** - ** - **** _ ** _ ** _ ** contains the date and time to the file creation. A new file is created to overcome the 50K size. Are not expected files delete criteria. The Log contains information passed to Dispatcher from Movicon, and Dispatcher notifications.

This Log with the Dispatcher's log(.dsplog) may give a more complete information about dispatchering phases of the message via plugins.
